Here’s a fun and functional addition to a laundry room: a custom dog wash station! The one we designed and installed here is built for convenience, comfort, and a little bit of whimsy.
This project was all about blending everyday practicality with playful design details that make the space both beautiful and easy to use. At the core of the design is an elevated wash bin, which takes the backache out of bath time and makes rinsing off muddy paws a breeze.
To keep things light and playful, we used a neutral-toned “bubble” tile that adds visual texture without overwhelming the space. It’s a subtle nod to suds and splash time—perfect for a pet-friendly zone that still complements the rest of the home’s clean aesthetic.
We trimmed the station in a white solid surface material, providing a durable and water-resistant edge that looks clean and polished. A brushed brass handheld sprayer makes it easy to reach all the right spots, whether you're washing a full-sized pup or just rinsing off tiny toes (and dirty faces!) after a digging expedition.

Even the most practical spaces can reflect your lifestyle—and that includes making room for the furry family members, too. A little fun and function can absolutely go paw in paw.
